Choose where Knowledge belongs
Put shared content in the organization or workspace. Put content for one project in that project.
| Location | Where it appears in Knowledge |
|---|---|
| Organization | Global Knowledge in organization, workspace and project views |
| Workspace | Workspace Knowledge in that workspace and its projects |
| Project | Project Knowledge in that project |
Open Knowledge from the navigation for the location you want to manage. A project’s Browse tree shows its inherited organization and workspace folders alongside its own files. The workspace view doesn’t show the project’s Knowledge folder.
Choose the destination folder before adding files or a source. A folder name doesn’t change its scope.
Choose folders in Blueprint
Section titled “Choose folders in Blueprint”Open Blueprint → Knowledge to choose the folders available for knowledge search. Include default knowledge includes the top-level organization, workspace and project folders.
Use Exclude this folder from the agent’s knowledge to remove a folder from that selection. Turn on Show all to see excluded folders, then choose Include this folder again to restore one. These changes save with the Blueprint.
Excluding a folder doesn’t delete its files. Knowledge → Browse still shows them. Use Search to check the indexed content itself.
Store a file without indexing it
Section titled “Store a file without indexing it”Choose Raw storage when creating a folder if the files are for storage rather than search. Choose Searchable for a folder of documents to index.
Folders also have a processing quality setting, including Inherit from parent. Inspect the folder’s details when choosing a quality for a set of documents.
