Set project defaults
Open the project’s Settings → Basic for message search, anonymous contact naming and conversation summaries.
Message search indexing
Section titled “Message search indexing”The project shows the search settings copied from its workspace when it was created. These settings can’t be changed in the dashboard yet. Workspace Basic settings also show message search indexing as read-only.
Message search indexing is separate from Knowledge indexing.
Anonymous contact naming
Section titled “Anonymous contact naming”Choose a Naming strategy for anonymous web chat contacts. The form offers Geo-based, AI summary and Minimal. Geo-based uses approximate location. Minimal uses an anonymous label and language. AI summary uses a conversation label generated by a model.
Changing the selection saves it immediately. Check for the update confirmation before leaving the page.
Conversation summaries
Section titled “Conversation summaries”When to summarize offers Off and When the conversation ends. The form describes summaries and structured notes saved when a conversation ends or is archived, using the configured model.
Choose Off when summaries aren’t needed. If enabling them, check a completed conversation’s notes before relying on the result.
Other project settings
Section titled “Other project settings”Use Variables for project values, Users for access, and Access keys for S3-compatible tools. Use Trash to restore archived project items.
